I usually am in a pretty good mood on Fridays just because of the weekend. However, here are some other reasons that I'm in a good mood today.

*Taylor is in town

*I'm heading here:
in about 45 minutes.

* In addition to Taylor I get to see...Will, Danielle, Roy Lee, Matt, Leigh, Jake, Leslie, Lautaro and Sarah among other fine Centre folk.

* Tomorrow is Halloween

* We get an extra hour of sleep (partying) tomorrow.

* This Video:

* We get to start celebrating Christmas soon

* From now until January 1st marks the best time of the year

* Did I mention I'm going to Centre to re-live college for two days?

Yeah...things are pretty good right now.

Happy Halloween to all! Have fun and be safe.

No Shave November

Alright gang, I have decided to participate in "No Shave November" and I suggest you other fellas out there do too. Here is how it works. On October 31 all the participants will shave their faces. Then, we'll let nature do it's job and grow it's hair. Everyone will be allowed to shape their beard by shaving their necks and parts of their cheeks, but once your beard is just have to let it go. Trimming of the overall beard is not allowed at any time in November.

Then, every November Sunday (1,8,15,22,29) we'll take a picture of our faces and then we can all share them to see how weird everyone's beards are.

I know this may seem like a lame and pointless thing to some people, but beards are awesome and we should celebrate them. So, if you want to sign up...just let me know and I'll get you on the participant list.

I hope you guys sign up...hip-hip-hooray for beards!

2 additional notes:
1.) If you are participating and you have something serious come up (job interview, wedding, etc.) you are allowed to shame and no one will make fun of you. However, if you shave for no reason...we will all make fun of you.

2.) In addition to my weekly picture, I'm going to try to take a picture of myself everyday...and then make a time lapse thing to see how cool it will look. It's going to be sweet.

Have a good one! Also, Happy Birthday Matt C!

Top 5: Rappers

Today is an awesome day. Taylor is winging her way from Charleston to Louisville as I type. The weather outside is what I consider to be a perfect day. Plus, Taylor and I get to go to the Cards' b-ball game tonight! Needless to say, I'm one happy camper.

Another reason I'm so happy is that basketball is getting ready to swing into full effect. The NBA started last night, The Cards have an exhibition tonight and I'm joining a fantasy basketball league for the first time ever. Basketball is my favorite sport...and I'm very excited about that.

In addition, I like basketball because during basketball season I always listen to more rap music then I normally do...which is good because I've always loved rap. I think the reason I like rap so much is because of my ability to relate to the lyrics of most rappers. I mean when you think of me and Lil' Wayne...we're pretty much one in the same. Sure I don't rap, I've never done drugs and I don't carry guns with me...but other then that Wayne and I are identical.

Kidding! Actually, I like rap because I can't relate to most of all. However, I like the talent and skill it takes to be good at rapping. I also like the beat that comes with rap music. I also like hearing about the kind of struggles and problems that I will never ever have to deal with. So yeah, I like rap.

To celebrate my love of rap, here are my 5 favorite rappers. This isn't an all-time list, or a current's just a list of 5 rappers I really like. Rap groups aren't allowed (sorry Outkast and Jurassic 5).

5.) Lupe Fiasco
Lupe is my favorite rapper of the last few years. His name alone would probably get him a spot on the top 10 list.
Favorite songs: "Hip-Hop Saved My Life", "Daydreamin'", "Shining Down"

4.) Common
A lot of Common's stuff is pretty hit or miss with me, but when it's hard to beat.
Favorite Songs: "Be", "The Light", "Universal Mind Control"

3.) Kanye West
As a person Kanye sucks. As a rapper, I love him. The College Dropout might be my favorite rap album ever. His last album might be my least favorite album ever.
Favorite Songs: "Through The Wire", "Get 'Em High", "All Falls Down"

2.) 2pac
There will never be a rapper that I can relate to less than 2pac. For that, I love him.
Favorite Songs: "Pour Outta Little Liquor", "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted", "I Get Around"

1.) Jay-Z
I really hated Jay-Z when the song "Big Pimpin" came out. However, then he released The Blueprint and everything was alright...because that album is phenomenal.
Favorite Songs: "Heart of the City (Ain't No Love)", "My 1st Song", "Takeover"

Go Cards!

Tuesday Tidbits...

Guess who's back, back, back, back again....

* I'm back from Charleston and I just have to was a great time. We didn't do too much, but getting to spend some quality time with Taylor is something that I never get enough it was perfect. In addition, Taylor will be arriving in Louisville tomorrow at 5:30! Yeah! Only 1 day out of 12 that I don't get to see her at all...I'll take it!

* The CrapBags lost a heart breaker due to Brian Westbrook's concussion. We were only down 11 points heading into MNF and we still had Westbrook going. Sadly, he only gained 13 yards before he was shelved for the game. The Bags season is not looking any brighter because Andre Johnson is injured and Ochocinco and Tom Brady have byes this week. Also our running backs are awful. We need help.

* Is there anything more frustrating then waiting for someone to return an e-mail? No, there isn't. There has been a mixup between UofL and Centre and for some reason my transcript hasn't arrived yet. I've been e-mailing back and forth all day trying to get it figured out...but for some reason the lady at UofL decided to just stop with the e-mails. So now I'm just in this weird limbo stage where I'm not sure what's happening. I'm gonna have to just call them...stupid technology.

* UofL has their first basketball exhibition game tomorrow night. If someone has tickets and doesn't plan on using them....holla at ya boy! (This goes for all games this year!)

* Here are UofL's new unis! I'm diggin' the shorts.
That's Rakeem Buckles. His nickname is "Rock". He is a stud.

* When I got home last night I fired up my computer and checked my e-mail and such. Then, I was given some computer's magical. It also won't go away....hooray.

* I have got to stop spending money on things. From now on it's bologna and water until I get my bank account in better shape.

* I'm getting my haircut in less than 3 hours. YIKES!

* You know what I noticed during my 9+ hour drive yesterday? Two things actually. 1.) I love my car, even if I were rich I don't know that I'd get a new one. 2.) For the most part I don't mind Semi drivers, but the ones who don't know what they're doing are the worst drivers in the whole world. If I'm going 80 and you're going 58 you should never ever ever ever ever ever evvvvver get in front of me in the fast lane...ever.

* The biggest news of the week is that Taylor and I will be headed to Danville on Friday to attend Centre's homecoming! Last homecoming was a blast and I'm sure this one will not be any different. I can't wait see everyone.

That's all for today.

Saturday Post! Woo!

Yeah a special Saturday post, are you guys excited?

I realized I said I would post before the end of the week...and then I didn't. So, I'll give you a bit of a recap of the last few days.

First things first, currently I'm watching UofL "play" football, which is similar to being punched in the man region for 3 consecutive hours. It's just awful. I'm a fan, so I still watch, but holy crap is Kragthorpe a moron. It's currently 38-10 with 4 mins left in the 3rd quarter. We have no timeouts left and our starting RB and QB are injured. We need Ditka, NOW!

Anyway, I got down to Charleston around 7 on Wednesday. Since then Taylor and I have really just been hanging out. We've gone out to eat, watched the office, 30 Rock, etc. Played some Volleyball, went to one of her friend's birthday parties, etc. Nothing too fancy.

It's really been a great visit. I don't get to see her that often and when I do it seems that we are just going and going with things to do. But this has all been fairly laid back.

We're gonna grab some food and go to the Movies tonight and then tomorrow we'll hang out and I'll be returning on Monday. It'll be sad to leave her, but luckily, she'll be in later this week for Centre's Homecoming! Woo!

I'm gonna go finish watching this magical game now. I'll talk to you guys later.

Tuesday Tidbits...

* About 30mins ago I dropped the final portion of my grad school application into the mail box. All that's left to do now is just to sit and wait and hope. I haven't really been nervous about getting in or not...until this afternoon. Let's hope for the best.

* The CrapBags won an unbelievable game this week. After Matt Schuab scored almost 40 points for the opposition my hopes were all but crushed. Then, Mr. Brady got his gusto on and gave the Bags all he could by giving us 51 points and an 8.5 point cushion heading into Monday Night Football. Sadly, the other team still had Antonio Gates. However, even though Gates had 5.4 points at half time...he only ended with 7! The Bags are now 3-3, but more importantly we're only a game out of 1st place!

* Without trying I realized I'm apparently going for some kind of Candy Corn eating record. I mean I can't control myself. I love Candy Corn!

* So far Leslie is the only one who has signed up for No-Shave November. Seriously, no other takers? Come on, everyone likes Beards! Even if you don't...just give it some time...they'll grow on you! (rim shot) Hahaha!

* Sometimes I go back and re-read some of the older posts on the blog and it is alarming how many mistakes I make. My favorite that I noticed recently was on the post in which I talked about my top5 favorite shows that I don't was titled, "Top 5 shows I wish I washed" I'm only about month from becoming illiterate. Come on Grad School.

* As if it didn't suck enough that I don't get to go to the Monsters of Folk concert on Halloween, now they're having a costume contest and the winners get backstage passes and get to be onstage during the show. Ugh!

* Here's the best Tweet from T-Will's Twitter page recently: "Who ever get the board walk on monopoly we can split the money 60/40 so go to McDonald's an let's get this money" The guy is hilarious.

* Lautaro turns 24 tomorrow...what an ancient Argentine. Cumberland Tuesday to celebrate!

* For ever and ever when people have asked who your celebrity crush is, my answer has always been Kate Beckinsale. Often, people thought I was crazy. We'll who's crazy now:
Heeeeey-Ohhhh! That's right, Esquire named her the "sexiest woman alive." For realsies, go watch Serendipity and try to disagree.

* It seems like there was one more thing that I was going to mention today...oh yeah, I'm heading to Charleston to see Taylor in the morning! Woo-hooo! I'm pretty excited to say the least, I'll be there until Monday so blog posting is going to be random. I will say that I'll post at least once before the end of the week, but I'll also say that it won't be tomorrow...because I'll be driving all day.

Hasta Luego Ned!

Weekend Recap

Good Monday People! How was everyone's weekend? Good, I hope.

My weekend was pretty wild. I didn't do too much, but I had a good time. Here's a recap.

*Friday night I went and got Bourbon Chicken from the mall. I know it seems weird to go to the mall food court to get carry-out dinner, but if you've ever had the bourbon wouldn't be judging. (Note: I just realized I don't even know the name of the place where I get the bourbon chicken....I think it's "Asian Chao" or something). After I got my grub on I proceeded to watch Semi-Pro on HBO on-demand. This is not a movie anyone should watch. I love Will Ferrell and this was just a pretty lame flick.

* Saturday rolled around and I had a big day ahead of me. By big day I mean I watched football, ate pizza and drank beer in my sweatpants until about 5 p.m. I know that seems like the life of a slob...but it's a pretty amazing way to spend a Saturday. After I watched the Cards lose and some other pigskin games, I hopped in the shower and then headed over to Dude and Melissa's wedding reception (Since their wedding was out of town they had a reception in town for those who couldn't come). Let's just say that's where the night got out of hand. Dude brewed two tasty ales for the event and they also had some apple cider (which I hear goes well with bourbon). Anyway, the party was winding down pretty early and as everyone left Dude and Melissa asked if I wanted to stay and play drinking games. Since I had a place to crash, I couldn't let the newly weds down. I think it was only a little while longer until they regretted their decision. I was in full blown college mode...something that has only happened a few times since college (See: "New Orleans trip" Feb 2009). I woke the next morning with a gash on my hand and aches all over my body. Melissa then talked about how it looked like, "a bomb" went off in the tent the night before. Ugh, I'm not certain...but I think I was the bomb. So, for now I'd like to publicly apologize to Dude and Melissa. Thanks for putting up with me guys...and sorry for any damage I may or may not have added to. I felt a whole lot like Frank the Tank from Old School. It sure was fun though.

* Sunday left me rethinking some of my life decisions and trying to change things about the side effects of apple cider and bourbon. Luckily, this was made easier by the fact that Tom Brady delivered the most gusto infused performance...ever. 5 TDs in the 2nd quarter...6 overall, and he only played one possession of the 2nd half. Also, the Bags are still going to lose this week. We're that good.

Anyway, yeah the weekend was say the least. Now we've got a big week ahead as I not only get to send in the final piece to my grad school application, but also get to visit Taylor later this week. Woo-hoo!

Catch you guys on the flip side!

College Basketball is about to begin...

This whole Football thing has been fun and dandy, but tonight at midnight...the real thing begins. The 2009-2010 Louisville Cardinals will have their first practice and start their quest for an NCAA Championship.

This season looks to be a bit of a question mark because the off-season proved to be harmful in more ways than one. Earl Clark and T-Will have both left large shoes to fill, plus there was that whole Pitino scandal. The good news though, is that the Cards bring back a bunch of talent in the form of seniors Jerry Smith and Edgar Sosa as well as big men Terrence Jennings and Samardo Samuels.

The talent is there for another banner season and the journey starts now. Buckle up, we're about to embark on the most exciting 6 months of the year!
Here are some videos to get you in the mood!

Go Cards!

Have a good weekend!

???? of the Day...

I don't know about you guys but "Song of the Day" has looked pretty lonely down at the bottom of the last few posts. So, lets come up with a new "Something of the Day"

I have a few ideas, but I'd like to hear your ideas as well. The only restriction is that it can't be a pain in the rear for me to do this everyday. Song of the Day works so well because it takes about 1 second for me to think of a song. Beer of the Day was pretty easy as well.

Anyway, here are some of my suggestions.

* Picture of the Day - I'd just post a random picture to represent each day.
* Quote of the Day - I'll find an impressive, witty, funny, mean quote every day.
* Video of the Day - Similar to picture of the day...but the pictures would move.
* Fact of the Day - I'll just give you guys one fact...per day.
* Beer of the Day - We can just bring it back, I don't think we lost any readers because we did that every day.
* Brian Fact of the Day - I'll just tell you something you may not know about me...once a day.
* Favorite of the Day - Each day I'll inform you of my cream flavor, cartoon character, etc.

Alright, now you guys should comment and let me know if you have any ideas (or your thoughts on the ones I listed above). Once I get all the ideas I'll tell you which one is the winner. Also, if I can't decide...I'll have an awesome poll and we can all vote.

I think this is going to be good.

Also, 30 Rock is on tonight...Woo!

Kitty, Daisy & Lewis

I buy new CDs all the time and whenever I do I usually tell you guys about them. Last night I bought an album by a band named Kitty, Daisy & Lewis and I can't get enough of it.

I actually first heard of this group a few months ago when they appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and after a small article in last month's Paste I decided it was time to see what the album was like.

To describe the genre of their music, you'd have to go with Rock-a-billy/Swing, I guess. It sounds straight out of the 50's...something that was extremely pleasant to my ears. The trio are siblings from England who range in age from 16-22. They use no computers while recording their music and even use old-time mics and such. Their music has a up-tempo vibe that makes it nearly impossible to keep your feet still and the oldies sound to the recordings really shows off their raw abilities. All 3 of them sing at different times and they all play more than one instrument.

I'm not sure why I felt so inclined to dedicate an entire post to this album (it's not even the best album I've purchased in the last month). But I do know that I like it because it's a bit of fresh air. It's not over produced, it doesn't sound like anything else coming out right now and when you get to the end of the album you can't help but start it up again as your feet and head continue boppin' to the music.

My current favorite tracks are: "Mean Son of a Gun", "Mohair Sam" & "(Baby)Hold Me Tight"

You can listen to them on their myspace and you can check out the odd but cool video below. So yeah, if you're looking for some new tunes and you want something fresh and unusual...give it a spin. I dare you to keep still.

Have a good one!

Tuesday Tidbits...

Boom Goes The Dynamite...

* The Bags pulled off a big win this week, moving to 2-3 on the season. Even though we won, we're still not scoring a lot of points...A drastic change maybe benching Tom Brady. GASP!

* Anyone else still pissed at Don Draper after this week's Mad Men episode? He was such an ass. The show is super frustrating because you want to like Don so badly, but every time he gets going in the right all just comes crumbling down. Hopefully he turns things around soon.

* I get to see Taylor a week from tomorrow! There aren't words to express how much I'm looking forward to it.

* The new season of 30 Rock premiers on Thursday. I watch a lot of shows and I like a lot of shows but this one is probably my favorite. I'm excited to see what the new season has in store for us.

* Do you guys like the "Song of the Day" and "Beer of the Day"? Ever since I've switched back from the GRE Words, I haven't really been feeling the "Beer of the Day" I think I'm gonna re-evaluate some things. So for now, no beer of the day.

* UofL starts basketball practice on Friday. Boo-Yah. After possibly the worst off-season of all time, It will be exciting to get back in the gym and just play some freakin' basketball.

* Anyone up for a "No-Shave November" contest? Basically whoever wants to play will just shave on Halloween and then not shave again until December. We could have picture updates and such and maybe a prize for the winner? Let me know if you're interested. Also, a few trims will be allowed, but no full-face shaves.

That's all for today...guitar lesson in a few minutes.

Song of the Day: Beach Boys - Sloop John B

Teamwork & Competition

I had a wonderful weekend...celebrated Ben and Megs bar results on Friday. Played (if you can call it that) in the family golf scramble and saw some old college friends on Saturday. Saw UofL actually win a football game. Got to talk to Taylor again.

However, the best part of my weekend was a bit unexpected. Last night I got to sub on Ben's volleyball team for the season ending tournament...and it was a blast.

I've been filling in for them for the past few weeks, but we only played one time because the rest were all forfeits one way or another. So, last night was really my introduction to the team.

The first thing I noticed (besides how numb my feet were in the cold sand) was how much I miss playing competitive sports. I play basketball once a week and I often play racquetball with my dad...but those two activities don't give me the chance to be as competitive as I would like to be, plus the "team" aspect isn't as apparent. Sure we have teams at Basketball, but they switch throughout the night so it's just not the same. Also, when you play against family and makes you look like an ass if you get too into it (which I've done a few times).

But last night, man...I can't stop thinking about how much fun I had. We made the championship of the tournament and had to beat the other team twice due to double elimination rules. I have to admit, after they waxed us earlier on in the night, I had my doubts about our ability to compete with them. I was wrong. Our team stepped up and played really well. I've always loved volleyball for several reasons...but one is the fact that great effort is easy to see. Everyone of our players left it out there. We dove to save points, we flew around the court trying to pick-up the other's miss hits. We congratulated each other after good plays and picked each other up after bad ones. It was awesome...a feeling I haven't experienced in years.

In the end we were able to force a second game with the other team...but came up about 6 points short in the final. However, the important thing I got from all of how much I miss being on a team and playing sports. I played sports year round when I was younger and it never really hit me until last night how much I miss it. I love the camaraderie of playing on a team, I love the sportsmanship, gamesmanship and excitement that comes with competing. Volleyball is the ultimate team sport because you have to play together to win. A great set, a diving save, etc...all the plays we made last night had to be done together.

I realize I'm making this seem like the super bowl and in reality it wasn't anything close to that. But, the important thing is that it was an absolute blast. Hopefully, I can snag a permanent spot on their team in the spring...if not I'm going to have to join a softball league or something...because I need to be part of a team and I need to compete. It brings out the best in me.

Side note: There are no words to describe how sore I am today. Hurling yourself around a freezing pit of sand for 3 hours will leave you hating life the next day.

For some reason it seems like this week has lasted FOR-EV-ER...but, it's over now. Also, lots of fun stuff going on this weekend. Here are some cool things about today and this weekend...

* First off a big congrats to Ben and Megan, they both passed the bar! Woo-hoo!

* Taylor's conference comes to an end tomorrow and she'll make her way back to Charleston. I know she's not stoked about the long drive and I know she's enjoyed the conference...but I haven't had a chance to talk to her very much the past few days and it sucks. Luckily, tomorrow night she'll finally have some free time.

* The annual U'Sellis family golf scramble is tomorrow. We're defending champs and we're looking to repeat! Luckily, I've played golf exactly 0 times since last year's that means I haven't wasted any of my good shots.

* Tomorrow night I'll get so see some long lost college that's exciting!

* Sunday we're going to scope out some possible venues for the wedding. We looked at a couple this week and let me tell makes it all seem a lot more real when you look at these places. It's pretty cool.

* Anyone see Matt Holiday take one off the man parts last night and blow the game for the Cardinals? In the words of Scott Van Pelt, "That's an error that hurts in more ways than one."

* Also, I still believe that Kragthorpe is gonna resign after tomorrow nights game. Please!

* Picked up a few cds from the Ear X-Tacy used bin the other day (I know, I know). I got Hollywood Town Hall by the Jayhawks and Sweetheart of the Rodeo by the Byrds. They're both very good albums, but I don't know if they're so good that I'm gonna rush out and get the album artwork tattooed on my never know though.
(That's an inside joke because my buddy TJ actually has this tattooed on his arm)

That's all I've got for today. Have a great weekend everybody.

The Night The Pink Couch Was Violated...

Today I thought I'd share a story with you guys. This is a story from Junior year of college and I don't like to tell it because it upsets me. However, it's kinda funny/ I thought I would share.

Note: I don't remember exactly how this all went down...but this is mind has never been the same. Will can correct any part that's wrong. Also, I'm using fake names for the others involved.

So it was a warm Fall night and Will and I and some friends were hanging out in our room after a night of partying. Suddenly, there was a knock on the was this girl who had a crush on Will...we'll call her, Karen. So, Karen came in, clearly intoxicated, and started flirting it up with Will. Will and I then spent the next 20 minutes or so trying to get her to leave. She stayed and chatted some more and then her phone rang. She answered it and started talking to her friend, we'll call her Peggy. Soon, Karen invited Peggy over to our room as well. Will and I were pretty mad, but Karen was too drunk to notice.

Will, Karen and myself talked for a little longer...most (all?) of our friends left and went home...and Will and I continued to make it clear that we wanted her to leave, but she stayed. Soon there was another knock on the door. Peggy had arrived, she was wearing a gray dress that was only about as thick as an old t-shirt. She proceeds to plop down on our famous pink couch next to Karen and talk about how sweaty she was. The two girls continued to talk as if Will and I weren't even there and Peggy just kept going on and on about how she was at a party dancing and now she was so sweaty because of it and how the walk over to our room just made her sweat even more...

It was a disturbing conversation.

Luckily, the two weirdo girls soon got tired and realized that they should probably leave. So, they stood up and walked out the door. Will closed the door behind them and I was over at my desk messing around on my computer. Will and I began to talk about how crazy those two girls were and as we both turned toward the center of the room, where the couch was, we were immediately speechless.

We couldn't believe our eyes!

Surely, not! There's no way....she was only here for like 10 minutes....stuff like this just can't happen...

Peggy wasn't lying about how sweaty she was and I wasn't lying when I told you her dress was as thin as an old t-shirt....and that's how we ended up with an ass-sweat stain on our couch!

You always hear about stuff like this, you know the whole "Poppy peed on my couch" thing. However, when it happens to's so sad. I can remember that Will and I didn't really get upset but we certainly weren't laughing. We just kinda looked at each other, not knowing what to do.

I mean who does that? How can you not be aware of your swap-ass situation? How rude! How inconsiderate! That's THE PINK COUCH!!!

Soon, we regrouped and began to laugh about how ridiculous it all was. Will took that picture, I flipped the cushion over, and we called it a night.

To this day I can't tell that story without just shaking my head. It's a funny story, no doubt. However, it's a lot funnier when it's not your couch.

10 Things I Like and Dislike These Days...

Haven't done this in a while...

*LIKE: The Weather. So far this October has been wonderful. Highs in the 60's and lower 70's and lows in the upper 40's. If it stays like this for the remainder of fall...I'd be a happy camper.

* DISLIKE: Steve Kragthorpe. There are 120 division 1 college football teams. The Sagarin Rankings rank all teams based on stats, performance, etc. Guess what the Cards are ranked right now? 121st! Yup, I didn't know if it was possible...but it is. I know computer rankings are often bullspit, but 121st! You got to be kidding me!

* LIKE: The Eggroll Machine. My favorite local Chinese restaurant burnt down last winter...but it has now opened back up! Not only is it still delicious (had it for lunch) but it's new location is just at the end of my street! It's the best!

* LIKE: Postseason Baseball. Yeah, after I got excited about the Braves being 2 out with 6 to go...they went 0-6 the rest of the way...but still, it's baseball in October and I love it. The Twins-Tigers game last night was unreal and three of the four opening series start today.

* DISLIKE: CDs. I've been trying to save my money for a lot of reasons (wedding, grad school) and it's going alright. However, I keep a running list of cds that I'd like to buy and usually there are about 2 or 3 on there....but after I added to it today it stands at 10! Luckily I don't live close to a record store so me getting cds would be really hard...ugh!

* LIKE: TV. The Middle and Modern Family tonight! Tomorrow, Jim and Pam get married on the Office. Next Thursday, 30 Rock is back! Plus Sundays which include Bored to Death and Mad Men. There are a lot of good shows on these days.

* DISLIKE: TIM TEBOW. He's a football player...he got hit and received a concussion...stop telling me about him and his recovery every single hour, ESPN. He's one lost dog commercial away from achieving Tyler Hansbrough hate status.

* LIKE: CHAD OCHOCINCO. We should all root for him to score a TD on Sunday. Not only is he a CrapBag, but also he said that if he scores he's going to run around like Ricky Bobby after he "catches on fire" in Talladega Nights. He told the NFL that the fine money is already in the mail. Please let this happen!

* DISLIKE: BBC. 1/6 barrel kegs used to cost me $35. Last time it cost me $40. This time it cost $45! This is not a good pattern....not at all.

* LIKE: The New Blog Look. I decided to get a new picture for the title and change the color scheme a tad. I didn't like it at first, but now I think it's pretty stellar. It's very Fall-ish! You guys like?

That's all for me today, enjoy your Wednesdays.

Tuesday Tidbits...

Let's get it...

* Right off the bat I want to inform you guys that I don't have many tidbits today. I thought of about 15 tidbits over the weekend...but I didn't write any of them now I have like 3. Oh well.

* The CrapBags fell again this week and now sit in last place. There needs to be a shakeup really soon. I look like a fool...

* Taylor is off to East Lansing, Michigan this weekend to present a paper at a grad school conference. I'm not sure how stoked she is about the long car ride, but it's a pretty cool thing to do. Way to go fiance.

* Here's a hilarious picture of Earl Clark getting his first taste of "rookie hazing" in the NBA.
There's always money in the banana stand.

* So because he continues to take the UofL football program to new lows every single day and because he appears to be a moron...I've started blaming everything on Steve Kragthorpe:

I get stuck at a red light? "Thanks a lot Kragthorpe"
I burn my mouth on some coffee..."Thanks Steve"
I have to stand up..."I hate you Kragthorpe"
I have to wear pants to work "Go to hell Krags"

It may be harsh, but it's not my fault he sucks. You should try it out sometime...also, I saw this today. People are catching on.

* Big week for Ben and Megs as they find out there bar results on Friday. Ahhh! Good luck you two.

* I ordered a new keg for the kegerator today.

* I need a haircut.

* Cumberland Brues-day tonight!

* I told you I didn't have much today.

Have a good one.

Picture Book...

Hello blog nation, how's it going? Well, I hope. I back from a busy but fab weekend in the Smokies. There was eating, there was drinking, there was music and there was a wedding. All in all, it was a really good time.

I took my camera with me in hopes of getting some good shots, but turns out...I'm not so hot with the camera. I always bring my camera when I do fun things and then I forget to take pictures or I forget to show them to people. So, today...I'm cleaning out my camera...and you guys get to see my memories from a bunch of various events and such. Sound good? Here we go...

Here are some pictures from my apartment, I was going to do a "Cribs" post one day...but I never got around to it.

Here is a picture from Dude's bachelor party weekend in Indy...

Last Thursday Lautaro and I got to see Yim Yames at the Rudyard Kipling. It was a fantastic show, (None of my pictures turned out...but I stole this one from "Kory"...I just wanted to tell you guys about it.)

And here are some pictures from Dude and Melissa's wedding...

Also, here are the videos of Ben and I playing guitar for the wedding...

Top 5: Best things about October...

October is here which means it's officially Fall. Here are 5 reasons to be excited:

5.) Candy Corn
It's delicious and it looks cool. There's a dish of it at our office and I eat at least 20 pieces a day.

4.) Clothing
Jeans, Sweatshirts, Flannel,'s all comfy and it's all wonderful

3.) The Smells
Campfire, leaves, pumpkins, can get it all if you go buy yourself a "Harvest" Yankee Candle. You won't be sorry.

2.) Chili
I eat chili year round and so should you. However, it taste best in just does.

1.) The scenery
Over the next few weeks all those green trees will start turning gold, yellow, red, orange and brown. Then the leaves will fall and it will all look gorgeous.

Feel free to comment and add your favorite things about October!

Also, thoughts and prayers go out to my good buddy Tom and his family today, sadly his grandfather past away. We're thinking about ya, Tom.
